Who am I?
I am a fan of Classical Music and the Opera. I love to sing along with my favorite Arias, which immediately causes all others in the room to leave, allowing me to enjoy the opera in peace.
I love watching and predicting the local weather, and often come up with forecasts that are more accurate than the local weathermen on TV. That stands to reason. At age 69, I have a lot more experience with the local weather than they do!
I dabble in Astronomy, and enjoy all things related to space, including science fiction shows like Star Trek.
I became a licensed HAM Radio operator in 1957. I still have an avid interest in electronic communications.
Unlike most young men who play sports or get involved with other after school activities, I spent my free time with the local cops and firefighters. My interest in medicine eventually led me to performing EMT type of services (which went way beyond the usual first aide) for the local police and firefighters long before the federal government created EMT's.
The main focus of my entire adult life has been firefighting. As a Captain in the local Auxiliary, I have done interior fire fighting, pulled hose, and made rescues over ladders.
I love animals and have always raised German Shepherds. I find the training and handling of Shepherds to be as rewarding and challenging as the training and handling of submissives/slaves.
